This event provides a one-stop shop to discover all of the ways for the people of Wexford to give back to their local community.

There has been a great tradition of volunteerism across County Wexford for many decades, however, the demand for services provided by local Charities and Community Groups has increased significantly. As a result, many of our volunteer led organisations urgently need to recruit more volunteers to enable them to meet the demand for their services.

Furthermore, many people may not be aware of the wide range of skills that are needed by our local community sector. The Volunteer Expo provides a unique opportunity to meet with the diverse range of organisations that are operating across County Wexford and to gain an understanding of the important services which they provide.

From an exhibitor’s perspective, the Volunteer Expo Wexford highlights the important work undertaken by volunteer-led organisations in the local community and can inspire new volunteers to join their team.

Now in its fourth year the Volunteer Expo Wexford has been a resounding success, with over 700 volunteers recruited to date. So, if you have ever wanted to make a difference but weren’t sure where to start, whether you’re looking for a one-time volunteer opportunity or a longer-term commitment, to help out in the background or take a client facing role – Volunteer Expo Wexford is a must attend event.
