Jobs Fest

Enabling Wexford students to engage and make valuable connections with local employers

Jobs Fest

A Rotary Club of Wexford Initiative and conjunction with County Wexford Chamber of Commerce

Designed for Sixth Year students

As part of our  Careers  Connect programme  The Rotary Club of Wexford in partnership with the County Wexford Chamber of Commerce is delighted to host Jobs Fest each year in Wexford town. This event features local and national employers from a variety of business sectors including financial services, the motor trade, retail, freight transport, food sectors, hospitality and manufacturing to mention a few. For two hours this event is open exclusively to Sixth Year students from schools across County Wexford. This is an invaluable opportunity for students in many ways –

  • Gain an understanding as to which business sectors currently have the most demand, and what they are looking for in prospective employees.
  • Gain insight on what key skills employers are looking for.
  • Develop their own personal skills on how to engage and network with employers.
  • Share their C.V. ’s with potential future employers.
  • Prepare your Sixth-Year students to be more ready mentally, emotionally and practically for the workplace.
