Madeliene Quirke New President of Wexford Rotary

Madeleine Quirke is CEO of Wexford Chamber becomes the New President of Rotary Club of Wexford.  Having formerly worked for Irish Ferries, Madeleine is well known throughout the  business community of County Wexford.  She has been involved in community and voluntary work for many years and believes that Rotary is now the right platform for her to encourage business and professional persons to work together to improve the lives of others throughout the world who are less fortunate.

“I am honoured to accept the role of President of Rotary Wexford and will strive to enhance the service impact of our Club and expand our network” said Madeleine.

Madeliene concluded “On behalf of all of us I would like to say thank you and congratulate Eamonn on his Presidency.   He has been a wonderful ambassador for our Club and as Immediate past president I hope he won’t be too far away.  To the Committee,  over the past year you have all done Trojan work.  Thank you and I am delighted that so many of you will continue to work on your projects.

And finally I would like to thank Eddie Breen for accepting my invitation to be Vice President of Wexford Rotary.  Eddie has been a member of Wexford Rotary for many years and will keep me on the straight and narrow.  I look forward to working with you Eddie and indeed to working with all of you.”
