Wexford Rotary Club member Dara O’Leary gave a highly informative talk entitled CV Workshop and Interview Skills to TY students at Bunclody Community College. Dara runs her own HR consultancy business and has vast experience in the HR field. She shared her knowledge, expertise, insights and personal stories with the students.
Her talk covered some top tips on how to write an effective and compelling CV, including the importance of customising a CV, proofreading, honesty and how to ensure the CV sells the candidate to the prospective employer. She also covered interview preparation, such as knowing the top frequently asked questions, highlighting transferable skills and much more.
